Bhubaneswar, March 14: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Thursday, remotely unveiled a state-of-the-art educational hub in the Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri district. This sophisticated complex, spanning 7 acres, is designed to accommodate students from Class I to higher secondary (12th Class), consolidating education resources in one location. A whopping Rs 19 crore investment has been poured into this venture.

With a capacity to cater to over 1,000 students, the facility is equipped with contemporary amenities aimed at fostering holistic development. It boasts smart classrooms, an extensive e-library housing 3,000 books, a dedicated tribal corner, activity rooms for young learners, NCC facilities, computer labs, an ICT Smart Learning Centre, science laboratories, as well as residential hostels for boys and girls with seating capacities of 200 and 500 respectively. Additionally, the complex features an amphitheater, landscaped gardens, sports courts, open gymnasiums, solar lighting, water supply systems, and other modern conveniences.

During his address, Chief Minister Patnaik highlighted Malkangiri's significance in the implementation of key welfare schemes, citing the launch of initiatives like Re One a kg of rice, Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana, and LAccMI Yojana from the region. He expressed his delight at the inauguration of the state-of-the-art educational complex in Badpada, emphasizing its pivotal role in fulfilling the educational and character-building needs of children.

Patnaik emphasized that the facilities provided are on par with those of urban educational institutions and encouraged students to utilize them to unlock their potential. He urged them to strive for success through diligence, commitment, and determination, envisioning a bright future for the children of Swabhiman Anchal and their communities.

The Chief Minister encouraged students to leverage the resources available at the institution to develop their talents and bring honor to their families, schools, and villages, underscoring the importance of hard work and discipline on the path to success.
