Naveen praises PM Modi's focus on Odisha's development

Bhubaneswar, March 5: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik emphasized that while Odisha has made strides in development, there's still much ground to cover. Speaking at the inauguration and laying of foundation stones for projects worth Rs 20,000 crore by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Chandikhol, Jajpur district, Patnaik highlighted Odisha's emerging identity as a major manufacturing hub in eastern India.
He noted the significant transformation in infrastructure development, both social and physical, positioning Odisha as the second top state in capital investment. Patnaik praised Mission Shakti women for their entrepreneurial endeavors and thanked the Prime Minister for focusing on Odisha's development.
Expressing gratitude for various projects initiated by Modi, including the expansion of highways, a desalination plant, and new trains, Patnaik sought continued support for Odisha's 4.5 crore people.
Lauding Modi's leadership and vision for India's economic growth, Patnaik mentioned India's ascent as the fifth-largest economy, poised to reach third place in the coming years. He paid tribute to his father, Biju Patnaik, on his birth anniversary, highlighting his role in Odisha's development, particularly his vision for Kalinga Nagar, now a thriving steel hub benefiting both the state and the nation.
