Sri Jagannath Temple Ratna Bhandar inventory supervision: High-level committee established

Bhubaneswar, Feb 29: Responding to an Orissa High Court directive concerning the Sri Jagannath Temple Ratna Bhandar, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took action on Thursday by establishing a high-level committee. Chaired by Justice Arijit Pasayat, a former Supreme Court judge, this committee is tasked with overseeing the inventory preparation of Mahaprabhu's jewels and other valuables housed in the Ratna Bhandar. Comprising 12 members, including the chairman, the committee includes individuals from diverse backgrounds:

Vidhushan Samal, former CMD of Allahabad Bank
AK Sabat, Chartered Accountant
Representative of the Puri Gajapati Maharaja

Puri District Collector and Deputy Chief Administrator of Shri Jagannath Temple
The convenor of the committee will be the Chief Administrator of the Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
