Bhubaneswar, Feb 15: During simultaneous house searches linked to Basanta Kumar Mohapatra, RTO of Boudh district, Odisha Vigilance officials discovered undisclosed assets amounting to several crores. Among the findings were two flats in Bhubaneswar, two commercial outlets in Utkal Galleria Mall, an advance payment for additional flats in Bhubaneswar and Bengaluru, along with cash and fixed deposits.

Assets unearthed during the searches include a flat in Utkal Signature, commercial outlets in Utkal Kanika Galleria Mall, a 3-BHK flat in Utkal Royal Residency, and advance payments for flats in Iconic Tower and Ozone Elegant-WF-48. Additionally, cash amounting to Rs 1,16,700 and undisclosed fixed deposits in various bank accounts were discovered.

The Vigilance Technical Wing is currently assessing the measurement and valuation of the properties, while further investigations into bank, postal, insurance, and other deposits are underway. The searches are ongoing, with more details expected to emerge.
