Maoist landmine blast injures two SOG jawans in Boudh district

Bhubaneswar, Feb 15: During a combing operation inside Nalikumpha forest in Odisha's Boudh district on Thursday, at least two Special Operation Group (SOG) jawans sustained injuries after a landmine planted by outlawed Maoist activists exploded.
The blast occurred as approximately 30 jawans were conducting the operation following intelligence indicating Maoist movements in the area.
The injured jawans were initially treated at Kantamal Community Health Centre (CHC) and later transferred to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Bolangir. Two critically injured jawans were airlifted to Bhubaneswar for advanced medical care as their condition deteriorated.
