Bhubaneswar, Jan 23: Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected in various districts of Odisha over the next three days, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD). On Tuesday, these weather conditions are likely to occur in North Odisha, South Coastal Odisha, Nuapada, Balangir, Kandhamal, Rayagada, and one or two places in the remaining districts of the state.

Similarly, on Wednesday, light to moderate rain is anticipated in Coastal, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, and one or two places in other districts. On Thursday, there is a likelihood of light to moderate rain or thundershowers in Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Koraput, while dry weather is expected in the remaining districts of Odisha.

The meteorological department predicts no significant change in minimum temperatures over the next two days, with a gradual drop of 2°C-3°C in many places during the subsequent three days across Odisha.

From Friday to Tuesday, dry weather is expected to prevail over the districts of Odisha, according to the IMD.
