Cuttack glitters with events on the 127th anniversary of Subhash Bose

Cuttack, Jan 23: Odisha, particularly Cuttack, marked the 127th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, India's revered freedom fighter, with grandeur and enthusiasm on Tuesday. Notably, Cuttack holds the distinction of being the birthplace of the eminent freedom fighter and the visionary founder of the Indian National Army (INA).
Distinguished guests, schoolchildren, and the general public flocked to Janki Nath Bhawan, Netaji's birthplace, now transformed into a museum dedicated to Subhash Bose. They adorned the freedom fighter's portrait with floral garlands. The museum and the city echoed with spirited slogans such as 'Jai Hind' and 'Netaji Amar Rahe.'
Numerous events were orchestrated by the Netaji Birthplace Museum Trust. The morning commenced with a rendition of 'Ram Dhun' by the District Information and Public Relations (DIPR). Subsequently, wreaths were respectfully laid at various statues of Netaji dispersed throughout the city. Concurrently, the Blood Donor Council inaugurated a voluntary blood donation camp, adding a charitable dimension to the commemoration of Netaji's birthday.
