Odisha Government undertakes extensive bureaucratic reshuffle

Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: In a significant bureaucratic overhaul, the Odisha Government has executed a major reshuffle, as announced by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department. The reshuffling involves key appointments across various departments and districts within the state.
Key Changes Include:
Temjenwapang Ao, currently Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Division), Berhampur, is now appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department.
Srikanta Prusty, serving as Special Secretary to Government, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, is appointed as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Northern Division), Sambalpur.
Ranjan Kumar Das, Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, assumes the role of Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central Division), Cuttack, with additional charge of Southern Division, Berhampur.
Samarth Verma, the Collector of Puri, takes on the role of Additional Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration.
Additional Appointments Include:
Ashish Thakare, Keonjhar Collector, appointed as Collector & District Magistrate of Mayurbhanj.
Sudarshan Chakravarthy, Khurda Collector, is appointed as Director of Minor Minerals, Bhubaneswar.
Vineet Bharadwaj, Mayurbhanj Collector, assumes the position of Collector & District Magistrate of Cuttack.
Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, Commissioner of Cuttack Municipal Corporation, is appointed as Director, Rural Development.
Bijay Kumar Dash, Secretary of State Election Commission, takes over as Collector of Puri.
Several other collectors, municipal commissioners, and officers across districts such as Bargarh, Kendrapara, Malkangiri, Raygada, Koraput, Bolangir, Sundergarh, Kalahandi, and Balasore have also witnessed transfers and new appointments in this extensive bureaucratic reshuffle.
