BSKY Nabin card registration deadline extended in Odisha till january 26

Bhubaneswar, Jan 16: The Odisha government has announced an extension for the online registration of applications for the BSKY Nabin card, pushing the deadline to January 26, 2024. The decision was conveyed through a notification issued by Shalini Pandit, the Health and Family Welfare Secretary and Chairman of the Odisha Health Assurance Society.
Initially slated to conclude on January 16, the online registration period has now been prolonged. Notably, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik introduced the BSKY Nabin initiative on December 29, outlining its comprehensive coverage for all rural families, with the exclusion of regular government employees and income taxpayers.
Under this initiative, cardholders are entitled to cashless healthcare services for critical ailments at private hospitals. Qualified individuals can benefit from an annual cashless coverage of Rs 5 lakh (up to Rs 10 lakh for female family members) for identified critical illnesses, accessible in both in-state and out-of-state empaneled private hospitals.
