Bhubaneswar: Krishna Raj will cross swords with Abhipsa Dehury in the women’s open singles final of the 22nd Nalco Open Tennis Tournament at Kalinga Stadium here on Sunday. 

In the semifinals on Saturday,  Krishna and Abhipsa edged out Marisa Rout and Priyanshi Panigrahi 10-0 and 10-2 respectively to enter the final. 

In the men’s open singles semifinal,  Kabir Hans defeated A Parida by 6-1,6-3  and barged into the final, he will face the winner of the match between Debasis Sahoo and Pratyusa Mohanty in the final. 

In the boys U-18 semifinal, A Acharya win over M Maheswari by 9-5 and entered the final. 

In the girls singles U-14 semifinal Abhipsa Dehury defeated Shreya Mohapatra by 8-0 and entered the final.  However She will face the winner of the semifinal match between Marisa Rout and Sanvi Mohanty in the final on Sunday. 

Alok Agnivesh and Raj Mohapatra,  Prasant Patra and Vivek Tibrawal, Lokanath Mishra and Ramachandra Tudu,  Shenasis Behera and Jeeten Mohanty,  J H Choi and I G Soren, Dayal Gangwar and Saswat Jena qualified for the Veteran 40+ Men’s doubles categories.
