Rare yellow Anaconda succumbs to illness at Nandankanan Zoo
Bhubaneswar, Dec 6: In an unfortunate incident at Nandankanan Zoological Park on Tuesday as a rare yellow Anaconda passed away. Zoo authorities reported that the anaconda had been ailing for the past few days and succumbed to its ailments during the course of treatment.
As per the official statement, the Anaconda had been grappling with cold and stomach-related issues in recent days. It's noteworthy that another Anaconda within the zoo is also currently unwell and is undergoing necessary medical care.
It's worth recalling that in October 2019, the Zoological Park welcomed eight yellow Anacondas (comprising four males and four females) along with three Nile crocodiles.
