Diwali, observed on the 15th day of the Kartik month, falls on November 12 this year. It's a significant festival celebrated across the country.
In 2019, the landmark Supreme Court verdict on the Ayodhya dispute played a crucial role in paving the way for the grand Ram temple's construction. Subsequently, the government established the 'Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra' Trust, entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the temple's development in Ayodhya.
Progress on the temple has been steady under the Trust's guidance, with preparations underway for the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla in the temple's sanctum sanctorum.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit Ayodhya and partake in the consecration ceremony on January 22, 2024. The Trust extended an invitation to PM Modi, which he graciously accepted, marking the significance of this historic event.
