Suspicion surrounds death of woman in Bhadrak
Bhadrak, Nov 6: A woman's body was discovered under puzzling circumstances in Napanga village, situated in Odisha's Bhadrak district, during the early hours of Monday.
The deceased woman has been identified as Tapaswini Das, who was the second wife of Sipun Das, a resident of the same village. Tapaswini and Sipun had a love marriage approximately a year ago, and it is suspected that she may have been pregnant. However, her body was found near Chandima ground within the village on the same morning.
Although the exact cause of her demise remains unknown, Tapaswini's family members have alleged that Sipun and his relatives frequently subjected their daughter to mistreatment and may have been involved in her death.
Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene, secured the body, arranged for an autopsy, and initiated an investigation into the incident.
