Second direct flight connects Bhubaneswar and Jeypore for increased convenience

Bhubaneswar, Nov 6: The second direct flight connecting Bhubaneswar and Jeypore (Koraput) from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) commenced today.
This flight service, as per official sources, will be available twice a week, specifically on Mondays and Fridays. The Odisha government provides financial support for this service, which is operated by Indian One Air under the UDAN regional connectivity scheme.
The flight schedule is as follows: On Mondays, the flight will depart from Bhubaneswar at 7:10 am and arrive in Jeypore at 8:45 am. On Fridays, it will take off from Bhubaneswar at 9:00 am and touchdown in Jeypore at 10:35 am. To celebrate its inauguration, the initial fare for this flight service has been set at Rs 2,999.
One delighted passenger expressed, "We are really happy that the second flight service between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore has started. Now we won't have to endure long waits to reach our destination. Thanks to the Odisha government for making our travel more convenient."
It's worth noting that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had inaugurated daily direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore back in October 2022 at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
