VK Pandian leads inspection of Srimandir Parikrama project in Puri

Puri, Nov 4: VK Pandian, the Chairman of Nabin Odisha and the 5T initiative, conducted an early morning assessment of the Srimandir Parikrama Project in the sacred city of Puri.
Arriving in Puri at 4.30 am, Pandian closely monitored the ongoing advancements of this ambitious venture.
He urged the relevant authorities to expedite the project's progress, with a target completion date of December 15. He also emphasized the need to accelerate the restoration efforts of the various Mathas in Puri.
The 5T Chairman advised all stakeholders to collaborate while respecting the historical and traditional significance of the Mathas during the renovation process.
Furthermore, he recommended that the landscaping activities within the Heritage Corridor Project incorporate native varieties of trees and plants associated with Jagannath Culture. Pandian also oversaw the developments related to the four entrances.
VK Pandian instructed the officials in attendance to make suitable arrangements for two-wheeler parking to enhance the convenience of local residents. Additionally, he stressed the importance of relocating various utilities from the vicinity of the Meghnad wall and ensuring the timely completion of the project's electrical work.
He also reviewed the progress of the Jagannath Ballabha parking facilities, visitor amenities, Pramod Udyana, and the Sri Setu work, directing officials to meet their deadlines for these endeavors.
