Odisha CM launches 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha' for Kalahandi and Nabarangpur districts

Bhubaneswar, Nov 3: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday launched the 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha' program in Kalahandi and Nabarangpur districts, with the goal of enhancing infrastructure to transform Odisha into a stronger and more modern state.
A total of Rs 155 crore has been allocated for development projects in the five constituencies of Kalahandi, encompassing Junagarh, Lanjigarh, Narla, Dharmgarh, and Bhawanipatna. These funds will be invested in 4,678 projects across 310 panchayats within 13 blocks. Additionally, Rs 94.50 crore has been earmarked for four constituencies in Nabarangpur district, namely Dabugam, Umarkote, Nabarangpur, and Jharigam, supporting 2,942 projects in 189 gram panchayats spanning 10 blocks.
During the event, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed his belief that the infusion of culture and the enhancement of modern infrastructure would drive rural areas toward unprecedented development. He highlighted that this new wave of development would inspire profound confidence within the local population. With a strong cultural foundation, the reimagined Odisha is poised to soar to new heights, harnessing a wide array of modern scientific knowledge to build a fresh and progressive Odisha, known as 'Nabin Odisha.'"
