Raghubar Das to take oath as Odisha's 26th Governor on October 31

Bhubaneswar, Oct 29: Raghubar Das, recently appointed as the Governor, is set to arrive in Odisha on Monday, according to sources.
His journey will commence as he boards a train bound for Puri in the morning. Upon reaching the coastal pilgrimage destination, he plans to pay his respects at the Shree Jagannath Temple, seeking blessings from the deities.
The official swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to occur at the Raj Bhavan in the state capital on October 31 at 11:45 am. Prior to taking the oath as the 26th Governor of Odisha, Das intends to offer prayers at the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar.
Notably, Raghubar Das was appointed as the Governor of Odisha on October 18 by President Droupadi Murmu, succeeding Ganeshi Lal. He previously served as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand from 2014 to 2019, becoming the first non-tribal Chief Minister in the neighboring state.
