VK Pandian appointed Chairman for 5T Initiatives and Nabin Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Oct 24: Former IAS officer VK Pandian has been designated as the Chairman for 5T (Transformational Initiatives) and Nabin Odisha in the rank of a Cabinet Minister.
This appointment was officially announced today by the General Administration and Public Grievance department. Pandian will be working directly under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Notably, Pandian had previously taken voluntary retirement from his civil service career. On Monday, the Central Government granted approval for the voluntary retirement of VK Pandian, a 2000-batch Odisha cadre IAS officer.
Pandian commenced his IAS career as a sub-collector in Dharmagarh, situated in the Kalahandi district. Throughout his tenure, he has served as a collector in Mayurbhanj and Ganjam.
