Technical glitch disrupts OSSSC Revenue Inspector exam; candidates face long delays across Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Nov 6: The Revenue Inspector (RI) recruitment examination conducted by the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) on Thursday faced widespread disruption after a major server downtime affected several examination centers across the state.
According to reports, thousands of aspirants who had reached their respective centers well before the scheduled entry time of 7:30 am were left waiting outside for over an hour as the examination system failed to load. Many candidates were allowed entry only around 8:45 am, after the technical problem was partially resolved.
Examinees at centers in Berhampur, Kakatpur, Nayapalli, Mancheswar, Chandrasekharpur, and Patia were among those affected. Candidates complained that they struggled to log in to the exam portal due to persistent server errors, causing anxiety and confusion.
While examination authorities managed to resume the test later in the morning, the delay caused significant inconvenience and frustration among aspirants. Several candidates urged OSSSC to ensure robust technical arrangements in future exams to prevent similar disruptions. An official statement from the Commission is awaited regarding the cause of the outage.
