Bhubaneswar, May 30: In a tragic incident, the body of a 25-year-old nurse was found hanging in her rented house in Cuttack on Friday, sparking shock and concern among local residents. The young woman, who was employed at a private hospital in Cuttack, hailed from Balasore district, according to sources.

Preliminary reports suggest that the nurse was found hanging from the ceiling of her bathroom using a towel as a noose. The exact time of her death remains unclear, and the circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be fully established. Her roommates and neighbors reportedly alerted authorities after she failed to respond to calls or come out of her room.

Upon being informed, local police reached the spot and recovered the body. A scientific team was also called in to assist in the investigation. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and have begun a thorough probe to determine whether it was a case of suicide or if foul play was involved.

Family members of the deceased have been informed, and further inquiry is underway to uncover the truth behind the incident.
