CM flags off tri-colour bike rally in Bhubaneswar to celebrate success of Operation Sindoor

Bhubaneswar, May 14: A grand tri-colour bike rally was organised at the Kalinga Stadium today to mark the success of the anti-terror mission, Operation Sindoor. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi flagged off the rally as the chief guest of the event.
According to a release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the rally began at 8 am and proceeded from Kalinga Stadium to Raj Bhavan. Participants included police personnel, security forces, public representatives, and citizens — all riding bikes decorated with the national flag and chanting ‘Bande Utkal Janani’ in a spirited display of patriotism.
In his address, the Chief Minister stated that the rally symbolised unity and strength in the fight against terrorism. “When every Indian, irrespective of caste or religion, unites under the tri-colour, no force can defeat us,” he said. He described the national flag as an emblem of faith, harmony, sacrifice, and national pride.
Reflecting on a similar event held last year on August 14, Majhi said the atmosphere today was equally charged with enthusiasm. He credited the success of Operation Sindoor to the courage of Indian soldiers and the support of the nation’s women, whose resilience, he said, upholds the dignity symbolised by Sindoor.
The Chief Minister also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that under his guidance, the nation remains secure. He reiterated PM Modi’s resolve that India will not be cowed by nuclear threats and that the armed forces are fully capable of countering any challenge to national security.
