CBSE Class 10 results declared: Overall pass percentage at 93.66%, girls outshine boys again

Bhubaneswar, May 13: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10 examination results on Tuesday, with an impressive overall pass percentage of 93.66%. A total of 23,71,939 students appeared for the exams this year, out of which 22,21,636 successfully passed.
Continuing the consistent trend of recent years, girls once again outperformed boys. The pass percentage among girls stood at 95.00%, compared to 92.63% for boys, showcasing a clear academic edge.
Region-wise, Trivandrum and Vijayawada topped the charts, both achieving an exceptional pass rate of 99.79%. They were followed closely by Bengaluru with 98.90% and Chennai with 98.71%. These regions continue to maintain a strong academic record in CBSE examinations.
Bhubaneswar also made its mark among the top-performing regions, securing a spot in the top 12 with a pass percentage of 92.64%. However, Guwahati lagged behind, ranking 17th among all regions, with a pass percentage of 84.14%.
The results reflect a strong academic performance across the country, with students, teachers, and parents celebrating the achievements despite challenges faced during the academic year.
