Odisha’s Ritika Rath secures AIR 48 in UPSC CSE 2024

Bhubaneswar, April 22: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday declared the results of the Civil Services Examination 2024, one of the most prestigious and competitive examinations in India. Among the successful candidates, Odisha’s Ritika Rath has made the state proud by securing All India Rank (AIR) 48, emerging as the Odisha topper.
Ritika, an alumna of SAI International School, Bhubaneswar, completed her Class X in 2017. Her remarkable achievement has earned her a place in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), fulfilling a dream cherished by thousands across the country. Her success has brought cheer to the state and inspired many aspiring civil servants.
This year, 1,009 candidates have been recommended for appointments to elite services like the IAS, Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and various Central Services (Group A and B).
The examination process began with the Preliminary Exam on June 16, 2024, followed by the Main Examination from September 20–29, and concluded with the Personality Test conducted between January 7 and April 17, 2025.
The top five rank holders are Shakti Dubey, Harshita Goyal, Dongre Archit Parag, Shah Margi Chirag, and Aakash Garg.
