Odisha Class X board exam results likely in second week of May, confirms BSE

Bhubaneswar, April 8: The results of the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination, commonly referred to as the Class X board exams, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, are expected to be announced in the second week of May 2025. This update was officially shared by BSE President Srikant Tarai during a press briefing on Tuesday.
Tarai informed that the evaluation of answer sheets began on March 19 and has been progressing steadily. However, the process faced a temporary pause of three days, which slightly delayed the overall timeline. "Despite the brief interruption, we are committed to publishing the results by mid-May to ensure that students do not face any disruption in their plans for higher education," he stated.
Addressing concerns related to Science paper evaluation, Tarai reassured students that all decisions have been taken with their best interests in mind.
He also highlighted the successful implementation of new security measures this year, including watermarks and QR codes on question papers, which significantly helped prevent paper leaks and upheld the integrity of the examination process.
