Coordination Meeting for Rukuna Rath Yatra Between Police and Lingaraj Temple Sevayats Held
Bhubaneswar : An important coordination meeting was held between the police and the Lingaraj Temple Sevayats at Lingaraj Police Station today at 5 pm for the Rukuna Rath Yatra of Lord Lingaraj to be held on 05.04.2025 and 09.04.2025 on the occasion of the holy Ashokastami. The meeting was chaired by Bhubaneswar DCP Shri Jagmohan Meena (IPS), while DCP (Traffic), ACP (Traffic), ACP Zone-2 and other senior police officers along with the service of Shri Lingaraj Temple were also present.
In this meeting, general security arrangements, public transport and other necessary preparations were discussed in detail in the presence of everyone. In the meeting, Brahmin Niyog, Puja Panda Niyog, Vaviot Niyog, Maharana Sevayat, etc. all came together and expressed their interest in implementing all the arrangements for the Rath Yatra smoothly, expressed their consent and exchanged views.
