Temperatures to rise from March

Bhubaneswar: While the weather is dry in the state now, the night temperature will increase in the next three days, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Center has said. In early February, the mercury had increased during the day. In many places, the temperature was above 35 degrees. The mercury has decreased due to light to moderate rains in various places in the state due to the influence of the western monsoon in the last week. The night temperature in the state will remain unchanged for the next three days and will increase by 2-4 degrees.
In the last 24 hours, the lowest minimum temperature of 11.6 degrees has been recorded in G. Udayagiri. Phulbani has 12, Jharsuguda 14, Semiliguda and Rourkela 14.1 degrees each, Bhubaneswar 21.9 and Cuttack 21.5 degrees. On Tuesday, the temperature touched 35 degrees in three places. The highest daily temperature was recorded in Boudh at 36.5 degrees Celsius. Paralakhemundi and Sambalpur recorded 35 degrees Celsius each, Bhubaneswar recorded 33.4 degrees Celsius and Cuttack recorded 31.2 degrees Celsius.
