MD predicts light rain and fog amid ongoing heat in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: Amid rising temperatures across Odisha, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has forecast light to moderate rainfall in some parts of the state. According to IMD, one or two places in north coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Dhenkanal are likely to experience rain on February 19 and 20.
Additionally, shallow to moderate fog is expected during the early morning hours in certain areas of north coastal Odisha over the next three days. However, for most districts, dry weather conditions will persist. The IMD has also stated that there will be little change in maximum and minimum temperatures during this period.
Weather Forecast for Odisha:
February 15-16: Dry weather likely to prevail across Odisha, with shallow to moderate fog in north coastal districts during early mornings.
February 19: Light to moderate rain expected in north coastal Odisha and Mayurbhanj.
February 20: Rain may extend to Keonjhar and Dhenkanal.
The IMD has advised people to take necessary precautions against fluctuating weather conditions, especially amid rising temperatures in the state.
