Bhubaneswar, Jan 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the two-day ‘Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025’, the flagship Global Investment Summit organized by the Odisha government, at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar, on Tuesday.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with his Cabinet and prominent leaders of Indian industry, attended the grand inaugural ceremony.

Congratulating Odisha on hosting its largest-ever business summit, Modi remarked, “Odisha was a leading trade hub in ancient times, and the Bali Yatra is a testament to its glorious past. I am optimistic that Odisha will surpass those glories. This is the right time to invest in Odisha.”

The Prime Minister urged investors to leverage Odisha’s abundant minerals, strategic ports, and skilled workforce to expand their businesses.

The Utkarsh Odisha Conclave aims to position Odisha as the anchor of the Purvodaya Vision and a premier industrial hub in India. Modi also inaugurated the Make in Odisha Exhibition, showcasing the state’s industrial ecosystem. With over 7,500 investors from India and abroad registered, the event promises to highlight Odisha’s potential as a preferred global investment destination.
