Bhubaneswar, Jan 25: In honor of their exemplary service and bravery, 29 police personnel from Odisha have been chosen to receive prestigious Gallantry and Service Medals as part of the 76th Republic Day celebrations in 2025. This announcement was made via an official notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Nationally, a total of 942 personnel from various sectors—including police, fire services, home guards, civil defense, and correctional services—will be honored with the Gallantry Medals, President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM), and the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM).
