ATM uprooted and looted in Bhubaneswar, dumped in Gangua Nullah

Bhubaneswar, Jan 24: In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants uprooted an ATM machine in the Sriramnagar area under Lingaraj police limits in Bhubaneswar late Thursday night. After looting the cash, the thieves dumped the machine into Gangua nullah, from where it was later recovered by the police. The daring heist has left authorities scrambling for clues.
Preliminary investigations suggest the culprits used an auto-rickshaw, which has been seized, to transport and dispose of the looted ATM. The police are currently working to determine the exact amount of cash stolen. A team has been formed to apprehend the miscreants, and forensic experts have been called in to examine the recovered ATM for any possible evidence.
As part of the probe, officers are thoroughly reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the thieves. Additionally, local residents and shopkeepers are being questioned to gather leads.
