Dense fog alert issued for Odisha districts on January 23-24

Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense to very dense fog in parts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, and Bhadrak on January 23 and 24. A yellow warning has been issued, urging residents to exercise caution, particularly during early morning travel.
IMD predicts that shallow to moderate fog will also affect districts such as Cuttack, Khurda, Puri, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Jharsuguda, and Sundargarh. The foggy conditions are likely to persist over the next two days, with no major fluctuations in minimum temperatures expected across Odisha.
Reduced visibility could pose challenges for commuters, especially during early morning hours. The IMD has advised people to stay alert and take necessary precautions to ensure safe travel.
