Odisha CM thanks PM Modi for attending Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Jan 10: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attending the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) convention held in Bhubaneswar.
CM Majhi highlighted how PM Modi’s presence elevated the significance of the three-day global event. “Your gracious presence on Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has made this event even more successful and special. Your guidance has infused new hope and enthusiasm in the minds of all the NRIs present here and inspired them to build a ‘Viksit Bharat.’ I personally thank you for this,” CM Majhi stated on his official ‘X’ handle.
PM Modi, who inaugurated the event on Thursday, commended Odisha for successfully hosting the convention. “It is commendable how Odisha is emerging as a vibrant destination for such global events,” PM Modi remarked.
Addressing the Indian diaspora, PM Modi also praised Odisha’s rich cultural heritage, saying, “The land of Odisha is a reflection of India’s rich heritage. At every step, we come across our heritage here.”
The convention, held for the first time in Odisha, witnessed participation from over 5,000 delegates from across the globe.
