CHSE forms district-level squads to prevent malpractices in +2 exams

Bhubaneswar, Jan 9: To ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the upcoming +2 examinations, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has announced the formation of district-level squads across the state to curb malpractices.
This initiative comes after challenges faced by the State-level squad in reaching remote districts in previous years. CHSE Chairman Dr. Prashant Parida stated that these district-level squads would be deployed in all districts, with larger districts having two squads and smaller ones having one. The squads will monitor examination centers to prevent malpractices and ensure transparency during the exams.
The decision follows the successful implementation of district-level squads in Malkangiri, Koraput, and Nabarangpur last year. Encouraged by the positive outcomes, CHSE plans to replicate the model statewide.
The CHSE will fully fund the formation and functioning of these squads. Dr. Parida expressed confidence that this decentralized approach would enhance efficiency and uphold the integrity of the examination process.
