Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Monday that financial assistance under the women-focused Subhadra Yojana will be provided three times in 2025. This initiative aims to empower women and ensure their financial security.

During a media briefing, Dy. CM Parida detailed that beneficiaries of the Subhadra scheme will receive support in three phases throughout the year. The first disbursement is scheduled to occur before March 8, aligning with International Women’s Day, which will also see a second phase of funding. The third phase will be released during the festival of Raksha Bandhan.

In addition to the financial aid, Parida highlighted that a comprehensive field survey will be conducted in the first week of January 2025. The findings from this survey will play a crucial role in refining the government’s approach to the program.

“We are committed to ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is left out,” she emphasized, underscoring the government’s dedication to inclusivity and support for women in the state.
