Bhubaneswar, Dec 26: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha on the evening of December 28, as confirmed by state BJP in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar on Thursday. Shah's visit aims to participate in significant party activities in Bhubaneswar.

According to Tomar, Shah will land at Bhubaneswar airport on December 28 and return to Delhi the following evening, December 29. While speculations about a possible visit to Sambalpur were circulating, Tomar clarified that it is not part of Shah’s itinerary.

During his brief stay, Shah will attend a crucial national party meeting in Bhubaneswar on the morning of December 29. The meeting will be conducted via video conferencing and is expected to bring together state presidents, in-charges, and national office-bearers of the BJP. The central session of this gathering will be held in Delhi.

This visit highlights the BJP’s strategic focus on Odisha, a key state in the party’s broader political roadmap for upcoming elections.
