Statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee unveiled at Cuttack

Bhubaneswar, Dec 24: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan jointly inaugurated a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Bellevue Square in Cuttack on Tuesday.
The statue, a tribute to Vajpayee’s enduring legacy, was sculpted under the expert guidance of artist Sanjib Biswal. Crafted by a team of 18 skilled artisans, the statue was completed in just 35 days, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship.
The ceremony was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Literature and Culture Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab, and MLAs Prakash Chandra Sethi, Sarada Prasad Padhan, Devi Ranjan Tripathy, and Prasanta Behera, along with prominent BJP leaders.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Majhi and Minister Suraj for their support. He also paid tribute to the late former Minister Samir Dey, acknowledging his significant contributions to the statue’s realization.
