Odisha weather update: Light rainfall predicted in several districts

Bhubaneswar, Nov 29: Scattered light to moderate rainfall is expected in Odisha's coastal districts over the next 24 hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Light rainfall is also likely in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj districts, as per the IMD’s mid-day bulletin issued on Friday.
The forecast extends through Saturday and Sunday, predicting light rainfall in coastal Odisha as well as Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj districts.
No significant change in day or night temperatures is anticipated for the next five days.

Day 1 (Up to 8:30 AM, November 30)
Light to moderate rain is likely in coastal districts and at isolated places in Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Boudh, and Rayagada. Dry weather will prevail in other districts. Shallow to moderate fog may occur in Kandhamal and Kalahandi districts.
Day 2 (8:30 AM, November 30 – 8:30 AM, December 1)
Light to moderate rain is expected in coastal Odisha and a few other districts, including Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Mayurbhanj, and Keonjhar. Dry weather will continue in the rest of the state.
Day 3 (8:30 AM, December 1 – 8:30 AM, December 2)
Similar conditions will persist, with light to moderate rainfall likely in coastal districts and isolated places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Mayurbhanj, and Keonjhar.
Day 4 (8:30 AM, December 2 – 8:30 AM, December 3)
Rainfall activity will continue in Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Mayurbhanj districts. Dry weather is expected in other parts of Odisha.
