Second Tigress ZEENAT Arrived At Similipal Sanctuary
Bhubaneswar - After tigress Jamuna , another tigress "ZEENAT" has came to Similipal. The first female tiger, Jamuna, has already been released into the Similipal Sanctuary.
On thursday evening, another tiger arrived in Mayurbhanj from Tadoba Dukki Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra. Later this morning at 9:30 am, she was moved to the enclosure. Zeenat is a healthy and active 3-year-old girl. STR has informed that her health and movements will be monitored for 15 days through caller ID.
Zeenat has also been kept in the enclosure where Yamuna was kept for 15 days. After being captured at Tadoba on November 13 at 4 pm, she traveled 900 km and reached Similipal at 10 pm on Thursday.
