Additional leave to women employees for menstruation, notification issued
Additional leave notification issued to women government employees. Now women government employees will get an additional 12 days annual leave. A statutory notification has been issued by the Finance Department regarding additional leave for menstruation. Women government employees can take leave till they reach the age of 55 years. One day leave in a month must be taken in the same month. Unavailable leave cannot be carried over to the next month.
Earlier last month, the state government had decided to increase the annual additional casual leave for women government employees to 12 days. In addition to the current 10 days of casual leave and 5 days of special leave, women can get additional 12 days of leave.
