Ban On Home Guard Recruitment Revoked
Bhubaneswar: The state government has withdrawn the ban on the employment of home guards in the state. This has been revoked on the orders of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. With this, the vacant posts of home guards in the state can be filled soon.
It is worth noting that the total number of home guard posts in the state is 17,675 and 15,306 home guards are working. 2369 posts are vacant. With this decision the vacant posts can be filled.
