CNG Gas Leak At Khandagiri Flyover Cause Panic
Bhubaneswar: Gas has leaked from a CNG tank at Khadgiri overbridge. While going from Bharatpur to Berhampur , the valve of the CNG tank opened causing the gas leak.
Traffic on both sides of Khandagiri flyover was closed for public safety. No permission was given by the police to drive traffic from any side. On receiving the information, the fire brigade immediately reached the spot, poured water on the tank and continued efforts to contain the gas leak. The maintenance team arrived at the spot and took steps to stop the gas leak immediately. Efforts were made by the police and fire brigade to prevent the fire. The gas leak was brought under control with the joint assistance of the police, fire brigade and maintenance team. The gas tanker was then allowed to proceed to its destination.
