Odisha government to release third installment of Subhadra Yojana on Nov 24
Bhubaneswar, Nov 9: The Odisha government is set to release the third phase of the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana on November 24, announced Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Saturday.
Parida, who made the announcement upon her return from London via Biju Patnaik International Airport, revealed that the launch will take place in Sundargarh district with several ministers in attendance. The third phase is expected to benefit over 20 lakh women, with financial assistance being directly transferred to their bank accounts.
Speaking to the media, Parida explained, “A function will be held in Sundargarh district on November 24 to mark the launch. The state government has instructed all panchayat offices to publish the list of rejected applicants so that they can understand the reasons for rejection and reapply. Over 20 lakh women will receive financial support in this phase, and by December, more than 1 crore women will benefit from this ambitious scheme aimed at empowering women across Odisha.”
