Bhubaneswar: An investigation will be conducted into the death of Daringibadi Mandipanka after consuming mango kernel . Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered an investigation into the incident. 

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered an investigation into the incident of death due to consumption of mango kernel in Mandipanka village under Gadapur panchayat of Daringibadi block of Kandhamal district. In this village, 2 women died after eating mango kernel jau. 2 people died and 6 people got sick. 2 out of 6 patients are under treatment at Cuttack SCB Medical Center.

According to the information received from the Chief Minister's office today, the Revenue Division Commissioner (RDC) will investigate the death due to eating mango kernel in Mandipanka village under Gadapur Panchayat of Daringibadi Block, Kandhamal District. A statutory notification and SOP will be issued soon. It has been said that the RDC will give necessary feedback so that such incidents do not repeat in the future.
