Bhubaneswar, Nov 1: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning in some districts of Odisha on Friday and Saturday, while mostly dry conditions will prevail in other areas of the state, according to its mid-day bulletin.

Day 1 (Up to 8:30 AM IST, November 2, 2024):
Light to moderate rain or thunderstorms are likely at a few locations in Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal, with dry weather expected across other districts.

Day 2 (From 8:30 AM IST, November 2, 2024, to 8:30 AM IST, November 3, 2024):
Isolated rain or thunderstorms are forecast in Malkangiri and Koraput, while dry conditions are expected elsewhere.

Days 3 to 5 (Up to 8:30 AM IST, November 6, 2024):
Dry weather is likely across all districts of Odisha.

Day 6 (From 8:30 AM IST, November 6, 2024, to 8:30 AM IST, November 7, 2024):
Light to moderate rain or thunderstorms may occur in coastal Odisha and Mayurbhanj, with dry conditions anticipated in other districts.
