OPSC postpones Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Exam-2023 due to cyclone Dana

Bhubaneswar, Oct 23: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the postponement of the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination-2023 due to the severe cyclonic storm, Dana. The decision was taken to prioritize the safety of candidates, exam staff, and other stakeholders.
Initially, the exam was scheduled for October 27, 2024. However, with the adverse weather conditions expected to disrupt transportation and public services, OPSC authorities deemed it necessary to delay the examination.
In an official notification, OPSC stated that the revised date for the preliminary exam will be announced after a review period of seven days. Candidates are encouraged to monitor the OPSC website (opsc.gov.in) regularly for further updates regarding the rescheduled exam date and other key notifications.
