Bhubaneswar, Oct 22: A tragic road accident near Rajulkonda village under Chitrakonda block in Malkangiri district claimed the life of a 15-year-old girl and left three of her family members critically injured.

The incident occurred when Prakash Khil, a resident of Murulageda village in Gudem Mandal, Andhra Pradesh, was traveling with his family to drop off his children at a residential school in Narsingpatna, Andhra Pradesh. While driving through Chitrakonda road, the car lost control and crashed into a tree near Rajulkonda village.

Prakash’s daughter, 15-year-old Raso Khil, succumbed to her injuries at the Chitrakonda Community Health Center. Her siblings—Srinu (14), Ramudu (12), and Elisa Bethu (8)—are receiving treatment at the same facility.

The driver fled the scene, prompting Chitrakonda police to register a case and launch a search operation. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
