Bhubaneswar, Oct 21: The Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police has intensified its efforts to dismantle sex rackets disguised as spa centers, salons, and massage parlors in Bhubaneswar. This crackdown follows the recent bust of a sex racket operating out of a spa near Ravi Talkies.

Bhubaneswar DCP Pinak Mishra addressed the media, emphasizing the initiative's goal to eradicate the flesh trade that has infiltrated various spa centers in the city and surrounding areas. He instructed all police stations to prioritize this issue, conducting raids on any suspicious establishments within their jurisdictions.

Regarding the operation near Rabi Talkies Square, Mishra revealed that an FIR has been filed at the Badagada police station. This case involved a minor girl who was reportedly forced into working at the spa and subjected to mistreatment. In connection with this incident, two individuals have already been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
