Odisha CM to visit Mumbai on October 18 to attract investments

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will embark on a two-day visit to Mumbai starting October 18 to attract investments to the state. During the visit, Majhi will engage with industry leaders and promote Odisha’s potential as a hub for industrial growth.
Speaking to the media during his recent visit to Keonjhar, Majhi confirmed his plans to meet investors in Mumbai, inviting them to explore opportunities in the mineral-rich state. He will also participate in a roadshow organized by the Industries Department, highlighting Odisha’s scope for rapid industrialization. A key focus of his discussions will be the possibility of establishing a steel plant in Keonjhar.
Earlier in October, Majhi visited New Delhi, where he held meetings with Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and industry representatives. He also led a roadshow urging participation in the Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 scheduled for January 28-29 in Bhubaneswar.
