Junior Engineer found dead under mysterious circumstances in Balasore
Bhubaneswar, Aug 24: A 28-year-old junior engineer, Monalisa Hembram, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bhogarai, Balasore district, on Saturday. Her body was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan in a locked house.
Monalisa, who had been working at the Bhogarai block office for the past six months, was residing alone in a rented accommodation near Thana Chhak. The discovery of her body left both the landlord and local residents shocked.
Her family, residing in Baripada, has been informed of the incident, though they had not arrived in Bhogarai at the time of reporting.
Upon receiving a tip-off, police initiated an investigation into the incident. The cause of Monalisa's death remains uncertain, with authorities yet to determine whether it was a case of suicide or murder. The police are exploring all possible angles to uncover the circumstances leading to her death.
