Heavy rainfall predicted in five Odisha districts tomorrow: IMD

Bhubaneswar, Aug 10: Five districts of Odisha are expected to experience heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) tomorrow, as per the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) prediction on Saturday.
"Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) is very likely at one or two places in the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Koraput, Malkangiri, and Keonjhar," stated the IMD forecast for August 11.
Additionally, thunderstorms with lightning are anticipated at one or two locations across the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Dhenkanal, according to the IMD.
A brief respite from heavy rainfall is expected in Odisha for three days, starting from August 12.
After this short break, heavy rainfall is predicted to return to North Odisha, with some districts likely to receive intense downpours on August 15 and 16. The IMD forecast indicates that one or two places in this region may experience heavy rainfall, ranging from 7 to 11 centimetres, during this period.
